This ranking gives each medical school an overall score out of 100 depending on:

 

  • MCAT average of entering class (13%)
  • GPA average of entering class (6%)
  • Acceptance rate (1%)
  • Faculty-to-student ratio (10%)
  • Peer assessment (20%)
  • Residency Director assessment (20%)
  • Total research activity (15%)
  • Research activity per faculty member (15%)

  • Peer assessment (25%)
  • Residency Director assessment (15%)
  • Rate of entry into primary care fields (30%)
