UCAT isn't like GCSEs, A-Levels or other high school tests, so you might be stumped. In addition to getting focused help, a 1-1 tutoring service gives you a chance to improve particular weaknesses you've found. Maybe you've already done a course and need some help.
In order to assess your comfort level with the UCAT before your first session, we'll contact you first. Maybe you've sat the UCAT and scored poorly before? Maybe you've only ever sat a few questions, and you don't really know what it's all about. We'll look at your previous scores and practice tests, and maybe ask you to take a short UCAT assessment. All five sections are covered in this assessment and is like a mini mock test. The results will be reviewed by our Senior Tutor so we can figure out where your natural abilities lie and formulate a study plan.
We plan sessions based on your needs. Did you do a tricky Verbal Reasoning practice test and want to review it? Did you find some Decision Making questions tricky? Depending on your needs, our tutors can go over full exams, mini mock tests, individual questions, or just your general understanding. If you're unsure, we'll happily lead the way and make sure you know what to do.
A study plan is a guide to help you get the most out of your sessions. We can create study plans for any period of time, whether you're preparing months in advance or 2 weeks before your test.

UCAT support
We have had a very good experience of MSAG. My daughter has benefited from tutoring from talented and pleasant people who got to know her and really helped her. I was unsure how it would work with her dyslexia but it was very all very positive and suportive. In particular she had consultations and a personalised plan from Dr Jiva for the tutoring and her personal study. MSAG helped her to considerably improve her UCAT performance.

So helpful for UCAT!
The MSAG team have been so great in helping me prepare for the UCAT. I did the classes but still felt frustrated as I felt I could do now do the questions but was still struggling with timing and the set up of the exam. With some 1-1 help though we were able to find out what was wrong with my strategy and work on it. I've just done the test and am so happy with my score! Definitely could not have done it without the MSAG's help. Also buying a block of tutoring was great because I didn't know how much I would need for test tuition and you can use the remainder for personal statement/ interview help

Excellent UCAT tutoring.
All of the tutors provided a knowledgable insight into the UCAT. I learnt a lot of new techniques and how to refine my approach to answering questions. The progress report allowed me to reflect upon my work and gave me an insight into my strengths and weaknesses.

VR Tutor Session with Madeline Page
The part I feel I struggle with the most is the verbal reasoning and hence I signed up to this tutoring session. Madeline was absolutely amazing at tutoring me! She was so so patient and offered me excellent strategies that Ibthink will completely change the results I was previously getting during my practice tests. She took her time in examining to me and didn't mind when we went a little bit over time. Another thing is that I literally had tons of questions at the end of the session and she made sure she answered them all. I would definitely recommend doing these tutoring sessions as this one has proven extremely helpful!
