In order to complete your booking, you just have to follow a couple simple steps:
Add the package you want to your cart and go through the checkout process. This will give you tutoring credit!
Once you have completed the transaction and have your course credit, click on one of the available dates and times on the calendar below, then click "Continue".
If you would prefer a different time that you don't see available or if you would prefer that we do the scheduling for you, then please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help!
You can view the dates and times at any time in the process, but you wont be able to reserve your session until after you've completed Step 1.
Before your first session, we’ll ask you for a copy of your personal statement and find out which areas YOU want to focus on. During the first session, your guide will assess your interview strengths and weaknesses. Each session afterward will include a mock interview element reflecting the schools that you’re applying to. These can be traditional interview formats or MMI interviews.
If you’ve attended our Medical School Interview Preparation Course or MMI Course, our coaching is the next step to prepare you for interviews. We partner you with an experienced MSAG guide, a current doctor or medical student. All of our guides have over 3 years of experience coaching medical school applicants. Many of our guides have sat on interview panels or Multiple Mini Interviews at medical schools in the UK, such as the University of Birmingham, University of Bristol, Imperial College London, King’s College London and the University of Nottingham.
How many sessions do you recommend?
This really depends on you and your confidence levels. Our guides are experienced enough to tell how many sessions an applicant will need, after 1 session. We find that a majority of our applicants have 5 sessions with us lasting 2 hours each. Depending on the time in the season, we spread these sessions out across 5 weeks. But in the past, we have even run 5 daily sessions for intense preparation leading up to an interview. We’re happy to work with you to make sure you feel confident and have the best chances of success at your interview. For info about buying multiple sessions in one go, check out the answer below.
Will I have the same medical school interview coach for every session?
Once we assign an MSAG guide to you, they will be able to run several sessions for you. Of course, there may be occasions when your coach is not available, in which case, we will endeavour to find a replacement for you.
Can my coach run a mock interview with me?
Absolutely. As long as you give your guide enough time to prepare, they will be happy to recreate a mock interview for you. This is a great opportunity to practise the skills and techniques you’ve learnt in previous sessions.
Can I meet my tutor face-to-face?
theMSAG has medical admissions tutors from all across the UK, so it is possible to run face-to-face sessions at no additional cost. The majority of our clients choose to have Skype or Google Hangout sessions due to timings and convenience.
How do I schedule my one-to-one medicine interview coaching?
