A message from Dr Dibah Jiva

"It is my passion to help applicants get into the medical school. So, I have dedicated my life to helping provide solutions to make their dreams come true. I can't wait to help you get into medical school!"

Our mission

The world needs more heroes.

A career in medicine gives people the opportunity to help, to treat, to save. It gives them a chance to be real life heroes: having a positive, tangible impact on humanity as a whole. That’s why we encourage as many people as possible to pursue a career in medicine. Our goal is to make sure everyone - regardless of race, gender or culture - has an equal chance to get through the medical school application process. Our friendly and knowledgeable team uses technology inside the classroom and online - supplemented by considerable experience - to create personalised admissions training for every single one of our students.

We give applicants and their families the support and guidance they need to become their own heroes.

Our values

themsag-values-excellence

Excellence

Our business is a serious one: we are shaping a future for hard-working young adults. That level of responsibility demands excellence from everything we do. Our teachers are continually learning and improving, so you know you have people you can rely on for up-to-date information. Our content is constantly being reviewed and updated, and we go above and beyond to ensure your needs are not only met, but exceeded. Our service must be nothing short of excellent, because we only succeed if our students do.

themsag-values-personalisation

Personalisation

It’s not about what worked for us, it’s about what works for you. Every individual has unique needs and learning styles, and every school has a different selection process. Understanding where you have the best chances of admission and tailoring your application for a given medical school is exactly what we do. When it comes to interview preparation, some schools focus on role play and ethical scenarios, while others focus on situational judgement and questions related to the NHS constitution. That’s why “general” preparation just isn’t enough to guarantee acceptance to the school of your choice.Through every stage of the application process, we provide a personal and tailored approach to make sure you’re confident, prepared, and your application is strong enough to succeed.

themsag-values-trustworthiness

Better learning through technology

Medicine is a field that stays at the forefront of technology, constantly making new discoveries and bettering the science. We believe that philosophy should start right at the beginning, and use technology extensively to connect with our students. From our physical courses to our fully custom built interactive experiences - even behind the scenes, to connect our team internationally - technology is integral to what we do at theMSAG.

themsag-values-widening-participation

Increasing Diversity & Widening Access

This applies to our customers and our team.
For our team: Diversity was an integral part of the process when forming our core. theMSAG team is a balanced blend of culture and gender, as we believe different opinions and insights are necessary for our company to grow and thrive.
For our customers: Not everyone has the financial means to prepare for medical school. That’s why we offer financial support: to give everyone an equal chance to get into med school. We want to encourage people that have a desire and passion for medicine to succeed and not be held back by financial shortcomings.

Our story

theMSAG is a leader in Medical School applications support. It’s our goal to help students get into the medical school of their choice, making the world of medicine as accessible as possible. Through online and in-person classes and tutoring, theMSAG is a comprehensive and helpful guide through the entire application process.

We offer one-of-a-kind resources such as annually updated guidebooks, as well as a variety of services, including: one-to-one consulting for personalised admissions advice, interview coaching, personal statement reviews and tutoring, MMI circuit courses, full-day interview courses and online e-learning courses. Our Online Interview Course is actually offered for free to students!

We’ve helped students start to prepare as early as 2 years before their medical school application. We’ve also helped people that have been turned away from schools after a failed application. We assess every students’ needs individually, using our experience as a team of doctors and medical students to provide guidance and assistance. We make sure that students get the best information and calculated advice: everything they need to help them realise their aspirations. In 2018, theMSAG was finalist in the education investor awards in the “digital publisher” category and Dr Dibah Jiva, finalist in the women in international education awards in the “Inspiring Woman of the year” category. These nominations are a testament of the external recognition that theMSAG is now getting.

All services provided by theMSAG (except for strategic consulting) are now delivered by various team members instead of Dr. Jiva herself. However, despite this transition undergone between 2016 and 2017, the competitive advantage remains our tailored and personalized service. On a leadership point of view, theMSAG is led by an expert in medical school admissions who has built a reputation in the industry with her guidebook, who has credibility being a doctor herself and having gone through the process and who also is developing business skills in a top MBA program. In contrast, most competitor companies are led by medical students currently at school who don’t have business backgrounds or alternatively by business professionals who don’t have the medical credibility. Dibah’s dual profile is often cited by parents as the main reason to trust theMSAG's services for their children.
