Live Medicine Interview Course

It was very informing and helpful. Both tutors were very good and explained in detail. I feel more prepared now but also know what to work on. The breaks were very sparse though so I lost focus halfway so more having 5 minutes breaks would be helpful.

Excellent. It has made me grow so much in confidence. Putting myself under pressured situations, such as answering questions with short preparation times, just like my real interview will be has made me understand how important structure is and how easy it is to answer a question I don’t know, so long as I use structure. I felt relaxed throughout the whole day and both tutors were very welcoming. They pushed you to extend your answers which was very helpful. Overall a positive experience.

The course covers a lot of content and gives you lots of opportunity to practice too. I left the session feeling much more confident and prepared for interviews.

Very informative with great feedback on answering a variety of questions. Group interview especially helpful as most courses don't offer it. Only major complaint was not enough emphasis on the role play and not everyone, my self included, got a turn at it.

It has been a very productive day and I have learn numerous things which I think will be very useful in my interview. I will definitely apply these techniques in my interviews. I was pleasantly surprised by how both of our tutors explained each section in great detail. Additionally, I enjoyed the group tasks and the feedback Dr Hannah gave me. In my opinion, I think that this course has helped me to reduce my anxiety about my potential interviews next year.

Very positive. overall. I aimed to develop my confidence in answering questions at interview and achieved my aim as well as learning about difficult types of stations I hadn't thought of. I feel much more prepared for my interviews.

The course was really engaging. The two teachers who ran the session we’re really nice and knowledgeable. They both related to our postion of applying to medical school as one is a medical student and another a junior doctor.

I thought this course was really well structured,, as it allowed us to learn how to answer the questions and then practice. I also thought that it was great that you were able to listen to other people’s answers and their feedback too.

I found the course extremely useful to structure my answers and get information on topics that i wasn't aware would be asked, especially the NHS hot topics. My teachers today were really nice!

This was a fun, enjoyable course which helped explain aspects necessary for an interview.

It was overall very helpful and useful. I have more confidence now and I feel more prepared for things that may come up on my interviews. I liked how there were different approaches to learning different things, and I especially liked being able to work in smaller groups, and getting frequent feedback.

I found the structure they gave for the different question types really helpful and I will be implementing it in the rest of my practice for the interviews. They were really friendly and engaging

I really enjoyed the course, it was very well structured and both instructors were very well informed and friendly. At some times I could not see the writing on the flipcjart as it was quite small - tgats the only problem I had.

It was a very beneficial course. The facilitators went through the structure and approach to different question types which is really useful to now apply to my answers. It has allowed me to be more concise. Also found out more information about NHS hot topics. I feel more confident with tackling MMI stations. I would recommend to a friend.

A really engaging course! It allowed me to learn a lot about how exactly to move forward on my preparations for interview. The two tutors were knowledgeable and constantly pushed the students while never becoming overbearing. The course really boosted my confidence.

The interview course was so so good. I think it was really informative and interesting. I honestly wasn’t too excited to come to the course today but I’m happy to say that I’m pleasantly surprised! A lot of helpful information was given to us today and Ash and Caroline were great teachers and they gave some good constructive feedback. They were also so nice and answered all questions.
