FEEDBACK

Verbal feedback on structure and content

In our Mock MMI Circuit, we provide you with a realistic mock circuit of 20 questions, with 10 practice stations and 10 observation stations. We keep you ahead of the game because most of the information we know about medical school interviews format, style and questions isn't on their websites.

The Most Realistic MMI

Other companies usually pair you up and rotate who answers questions at each station. Once you finish answering, they give you feedback immediately. Although it is easier logistically, an MMI circuit that gives feedback right away isn't as realistic as an interview. With our MMI Circuit, you'll do 10 stations in a row, with no feedback in between. You'll learn how to build stamina for a real interview. You'll get feedback from the interviewers after you have completed the entire MMI. You must also dress like you would in a real interview to get a realistic experience.

Ultimate question tailoring

Our mock exams use real questions from medical schools and dental schools, and we also let you "mould" your mocks, so you can practice the stations that you struggle with the most. For your BMAT essay or personal statement, we can also prepare tailored stations that have specific types of questions.

3 Way Feedback

Immediately after your mock MMI, you'll receive feedback on your performance from the MMI interviewers. Your approach, confidence, fluency, structure, non-verbal communication, and content will all be discussed. You will receive written marking schemes within 24 hours of your MMI. They include critical content and structure, plus notes the interviewer wrote about your performance.

Getting to know our students and providing personal service is what we're about. You can email us for additional support until you get the offers you want if you have questions after your circuit.

When do our MMI Circuits run?

Our MMI Circuits will run from November to January of each application cycle. They take place on weekends and last for 4 hours in total. There will be a morning and an afternoon session available each weekend so you can choose which time works best for you.

It is best to purchase an MMI Circuit once you have been invited to an interview so that we can tailor your questions to your chosen medical school, however, if you wish to have an MMI sooner, please let us know. A mock interview is the best way to test yourself before the real thing, so we strongly recommend preparing in advance of an MMI so that you receive the most realistic feedback. Our Live Interview Course is a fantastic way to start your preparation for your interviews. Any questions? Please email us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to help!

I had an amazingly useful and insightful day. I had my best opportunity yet to showcase my interview skills and strategies in a realistic environment. The feedback was in depth, kind and constructive and really outlined anything that I could improve on. All the interviewers were professional and got the best out of me and the other participants. I would greatly recommend this course shortly before a real interview. Thank you!

I found the whole session very valuable as I gained good feedback that I can reflect on. I also liked how some questions were specific to my personal statement but maybe more than 10 stations would be better. As a dentist, I would have preferred being partnered with another dentist- so maybe a separate session? Unfortunately I was only given 8 out of 10 of the mark schemes and have been emailing to send the last two asap but still yet to receive and interview is tomorrow!

    Confidence Boost

Posted by Sherryn Man on December 2, 2019

Great! I had already prepared some answers to general MMI questions so being able to speak them out to examiners gave me more confidence. Moreover, this experience has helped me feel better prepared to think on my feet for questions I hadn’t prepared in advance. I would recommend this to people who already have a general idea of how MMI works and have done some preparation beforehand.

Overall, it was very helpful. I was much more informed and experienced after I finished the circuit, and it really did give me the experience of how a real MMI circuit feels like. It was very informative and was nice to exchange opinions about different things in an interview.

The course was useful for bettering how I answered the MMI questions. It helped highlight areas of doubt and uncertainty on my questions as well as leading me to tone down personal opinions slightly.

    MMI interview circuit feedback

Posted by Beaty Howland Jackson on November 30, 2019

I really enjoyed my time at the MMI circuit. It was great to be interviewed by people I had never met before and in a proper interview scenario. I had my first real interview yesterday and I was able to reflect on what went well and what went badly at the MSAG and use this to better my answers.

    Really informative

Posted by Ella on November 29, 2019

I really learnt a lot and I liked how the questions were targeted to each person. Occasionally I felt the feedback wasn’t specific as the notes on their laptop wouldn’t load which was a bit of a waste. Also disheartened to be told not following spies structure that am not aware of - will look into it though.

Really great practice under pressure. Also I really liked that the questions were tailored to my universities of choice and that the examiner knew the details of the different courses. The interview course that I did the day before really helped with structuring my answers.
